Konstozisis, A-Grafo Assyrtiko 2017

Kontozisis Organic Vineyards is an organic grower from Karditsa in Thessaly, crafting 'natural' organic wines from indigenous grapes, like Limniona, Assyrtiko and Malagousia. All grapes are harvested manually. Total production of 40,000 bottles. Their Assyrtiko is spontaneously fermented, unfined and unfiltered and bottled with no added sulfites. The A-Grafo Assyrtiko 2017 is peaking now expressive of a rustic expression of the variety in an evolved honeyed and ripe style with some floral undertones. On the palate it is vertical and kind of austere with fresh acidity and a slight grip on the finish. More of a fan of the Roditis and Malagousia efforts.
